why wouldn't you knock barry bonds on his ass with a fastball? i mean, this guy has cheated to get where he is. he is not alone there but, if you knock giambi on his ass, you now have a baserunner for a-rod or matsui so, that's no good.

with bonds...you end up walking him half the time anyway so, why not put one in his ear? moises alou or pedro feliz shouldn't scare you...

Exactly. And why is he still wearing all the body armor?

There's a lot of speculation that there are more PITCHERS on the juice than there are hitters, especially relievers, who need to bounce back very quickly.

Maybe they can just sympathize with the guy?

If I was a pitcher, though, I'd drill the guy simply because I don't like him. Clemens needs to pretend he's Piazza and put one in his ear.

Get over it blue. There is a much higher % of pitchers on the juice than than hitters. Why is this so hard to understand?

You'd certainly be a hero in many circles and an instant "name" in the league if you take a shot at Bonds like that

Because it's simply your opinion. Why would it be hard understand that not everyone will agree. Got any facts to support it?

Its really not my opinion, its a cold hard fact. Here is the list of players that have failed the MLB steriod test so far.

6 pitchers and 6 position players. Considering the fact that there are more position players in baseball than pitchers the % of pitchers who take steriods are higher than any other position. and if you break it down to each position individually. 1stbase,2ndbase, catcher etc.... Pitchers win in a landslide.

part of my proof is ex baseball player tom house who benifits 0 from lying to the press.

Part of your proof is Barry Bonds ex-lover who benifits greatly for lying to the press.

Also check the MLB failed drug test list. Did the test lie too?

Amazing how people let the media tell them how to think.

90% of mlb pitchers juiced up, and or speed, coke. Clemens a known cheater. I know Tom House for 20 plus years. David Wells is a known drug freak in the Ocean Beach,Ca community.

ok, forget about the whole steroid issue for a minute...i'd still knock him on his ass and here's why:

1) he is a feared hitter who you'd pitch around or walk half the time anyway
2) he crowds the plate and wears body armour
3) he cant run so, there is no danger of him getting in scoring position via a stolen base
4) he's got alou or feliz hitting behind him....ooh, scary
5) he is a jagoff

Also guarantee you MLB protects certain superstars for years who fail drug tests. just like atp does in tennis.

1) you may like your best hitter as a teamate and/or person and don't want him to take one in the ear

2) it is the NL and you have to hit
