Under NBA futures they show a bet against Nets winning championship at +2400 ( +1600 to win), but it's really -2400. Isn't this showing improperly ?

I tried to bet it , but you risk 24 to win one. I thought I had caught somebody in a huge error !

The +2400 is what the other guys is getting if you bet into him. The 3-way "bet against" soccer lines are always displayed like this.

It seems more logical to me for this to show as -2400.

It's not how it's done on the Euro exchanges doug..

You back 2.2 and lay 2.3 for example on Betfair, just the way it's done..

I don't get it. It's like a ML on a game with a huge fav, that might be -2400, +1600. One has to win and one has to lose. The Nets win the championship (+1600) or they don't ( -2400) is the way I see it.

I admit I was looking to take a shot and get +2400 on the Nets not winning, a very very nice scalpable line.
