I know this topic has been covered before but I would like to know if anyone has had success using this type of system in baseball.

Thanks

i think on a limited basis, you could work it in..... im not really that fond of it.. Houston would have knocked you last night... anytime you have to win 2 or more to win a bet, im not that crazy about it... but its better than flat out laying over 2:1.....

I use it to reduce my risk sometimes. for example, last night I really liked Houston but did not want to lay 216. So I parlayed them with Min (nhl) and
Det(nba). I lost but only 1 unit vs 2.16 units. Yes there will be times that
the team I wanted (ie Houston)will win but the others will lose but over time I would suggest I am up money doing it this way.

It works better if you wait 2-3 weeks from now. The aces who command -200+ pricing have not hit their groove yet.

managers will hold them to lower pitch counts for a least 1-2 weeks

I can even see doing this cross betting sports.
(i.e. big baseball favorite w/ big hockey favorite.(max 2 team parlays)

Five dimes allows you to do these crossbets overnight, whereas my favorite book Pinny is gun shy about offering multisport parlays.

If Pinny shys away from these bets, maybe that alone tells you there is potential with these two team parlays.

I'm thinking one play per day with a goal of 3 units per month. At $500 units that's $18,000 profit per year.

When I look at the dizzying array of potential plays this time of year with great handicappers on both sides of each play, it make me want to scream.

I'm thinking less is more.

BTW - I parlayed Houston Astros w/ Cleveland Cavs moneyline last night. Cleveland lost. Record 0-1. I believe I will start tracking in the trackers forum
