I think its funny that you say that because I have a friend that plays anywhere from a dime to 3 dimes each game and I was looking for the best place to send him, and also where i could make the most bonus money. I called a few places and tried to negotiate the best deal. Bodog offered me 40% on his first deposit and a special 10% on each deposit thereafter. They told me that I would have to roll my bonus money over 5 times which was obviously fine. My friend made a 2000 initial deposit and they paid me on. He has made 9,000 in deposits since over about a 2 week span and they have given me a total of 75 dollars. In case you were wondering my friend has lost all 11 dimes (not that this should have anything to do with my bonus money). So now I have gotten him to take his business elsewhere.

Any suggestions...

You have to call sportsbook.com to get things done. I had to bug them to get $100 referal money off someone who deposited $500 about a year ago. They are like that. Make sure the person filled out the form and gave your id number.

They were much better prior to the bet365 buyout.

My boy and I have been through the same things with both sites. Bodog is awesome for referrals if you are only depositing 500, because the person doing the referring will get his 40% (200) immediately, no questions asked. Sportsbook.com takes a little more work, but is also great, but you should deposit 2500 with them. We had to each fax over our driver's licenses to them, but it yielded 750 in total bonuses, (250 sign up and 500 referral). If you can complain about sending two faxes in order to receive a free 750 dollars, then you are in the wrong business. Two time rollover at sportsbook, ONE time rollover at Bodog (when you deposit with Echeck.) Anyone who complains about these sites is confused, just do what they ask, and maximize your profits.

Ginseng,

You can do much better than Bodog, but if getting paid and receiving a bonus are your main worries you made a very good choice with Bodog.

Bodog is very smart, having a headache with 5 dimes on this same issue, they say Im a long term winner, so cant get a referal which makes no sense. Bodog is a garbage book and would hate to send a freind to that place, but money is money.

Sportsbook is perhaps the shadiest book out there. Bodog is shady also IMO, but it is one the best when it comes to referall bonuses.

Gobosox33,

Ask a mod for my email. I have a suggestion for you that may prove to be your best solution long term if your friend bets that sort of action.

Not something I'd prefer to post the exact details in the forum (you'll understand when I tell you what I did)

Is this the same "Sportsbook.com" that is on the stock exchange? I get some of these books with similiar names confused.

Yes, Sportsbook.com is the one listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are a bit disorganzied when it comes to processing payments and other customer service issues, but as far as getting paid you are safer there than anywhere else, as they have the deepest pockets and they must answer to their investors.

The timing of this particular thread is uncanny to me. Two days ago I sent their customer service an email asking them about baseball betting (specifically my question was if they allowed bets as action without the pitcher being specified). I don't have an account there, but was strongly considering adding them. Well it's been more than 48 hours now and they have not answered my question. Guess I'm spoiled with Pinnacle answering within a few minutes each time I ask anything. Plus Pinnacle does allow baseball bets to go as action. I now doubt that Sportsbook.com does, but that is beyond the point. It would have taken them 10 seconds to answer saying no.
They did not so now I will just say NO to them!
