I have to wonder why so many cappers (so-called respected ones at that, according to most) were on the Pirates against the Brewers tonight. A couple even went so far as to put to post them on the runline as well? Yeah, runline! We all knew and were aware of Duke's capabilities, but what about Mr. Ohka's. This guy went 7 strong innings tonght and the bullpen took over and shut 'er down through the remaining two. I mean the Pirates I suppose were a good choice tonight and only lost by a run, but coming into this game, the final one of the 3-game set, their offense was only able to produce 2 runs on 7 hits Monday, followed by 5 and 10 on Tuesday for a grand total of 7 runs in two games. With that said, one would have had to realize that the Pirates were not hitting a ton and two they were about to face a pretty solid hurler in Ohka tonight, providing the cappers had followed through with their research. I would definitely hate to think that the Bucs were chosen based on the fact that, since the pitching duel was about even, the Pirates were the choice because they would avoid the sweep. Ouch!!! That hurts me to even think some would have based their Pirate choice or post for others soley on that notion. In any case, I suppose it can be classified as a tough loss, but then again their are no tough losses when it comes to placing one's coin in the hands of a baseball team, especially when that team was posted by some of the so-called respected cappers on the forums. Remember they're all losses and when it comes to the topic of tough losses, forget it because the only word that counts is the first: TOUGH! No one cares how you lost or how much you lost. Good night and god bless:
