Why does it seem like Baseball has the most bad beats?

Is it just me or does baseball seem as difficult to follow as hoops when betting. For example Dodgers jump out to 5-0 lead and now trail and Yanks were up 4-0 and now are tied.
I think what happens is that the game moves so slow so you think that a 3+ run lead is safe and you chalk it up in your head only to look back later in game and you now are losing and when this happen it hurts TWICE as bad. Either/or I love baseball

When a team gives up an early lead it is annoying but not always surprising. It is the 9th inning comebacks that get to me.

Baseball, soccer, hockey---all low scoring. One play will make or break a LOT of wagers.

Baseball is great to bet but it is a stressful day if you watch the ticker all night

It's the relief pitching. If you aren't a starter or THE closer, you basically suck. You can protect some of these early leads now with Second Chance.

I think it is definitely the most stressful and frustrating game to watch when a bet loses. Not really sure why

Don't watch closely on games you bet. Just look at the end results, that'll save you some years in your life.

i strongly recommend 5 inning lines

i have lost too many games over the years where the bullpen has blown 3+ run leads

Probably not higher % of bad beats then any other sport, just 3 times as many games to have a bad beat occur.

it's all a mirage man...

luck factors into every game, sure. but in the long-run "luck" will be on your side just as many times as against you. it all evens out...

it just never seems that way because our human psychology, for some reason, allows us to remember those "bad beats" far longer and more intensely than we remember those "miracle" come-from-behind wins.

i remember having both the Phillies AND the over 9 (or something like that) on a game against the Marlins...

by the 8th inning the score was maybe 4-0 Florida and Philly couldn't hit for s***

i drifted off into a nap on the couch figuring i was going to lose both bets...

as i slept and heard the game in my sleep i started dreaming that the Phillies had made a miraculous 9th inning comeback and were now up 9-4...

sure enough, i woke up from my nap and turns out it wasn't a dream...i was listening to the play-by-play in my sleep. i won both bets!

ever since then, i never complain about my "bad beats" and i always think back to that day whenver i feel sorry for myself for having bad "luck"

it all evens out in the long run, whether you realize it or not.

I think basketball is the worst. Last minute, meaningless free throws is what gamblers live and die by. Or a last second meaningless layup that cuts the lead from 10 to 8 to cover the spread.

Like Jeter's error that caused the A's to score 3 runs.

Lets face it, theres bad beats no matter what we bet on. Missed field goals in football, meaningless layups in basketball, shitty relievers in baseball. We always remember the bad beats but hardly ever remember the wins that we had no business winning.
I just prefer to have money on the line when Im watching a game.
