Always like to take a look at what you are doing here Chop, great last 2 days and much luck today...we are on the same side of a couple of these...let's get em!! Suprised you are against Lowry and the Giants for their home opener, you must see something I don't, although alot of very very good pitchers getting lit up for their first outing!!

Im counting on 7+ innings from SOSA. No Bonds tommorow. Sosa matches up well with that lineup. There is a 3 way tie for best starting pitcher on the Braves and he is one of the 3.

Chop I'm hopeful that SOSA will turn out to be the 3rd best starter for the Braves this year, I really admired what the kid did last year and hopefully he can remember a few of the things Leo taught him; I really believe Leo had an immense effect on him teaching him the Mazzone way...

It's Ramirez that scares me this year, I think we might see him traded or hitting the pen if he continues his woes, Thomson moved back into the rotation...

GO BRAVES love to see you on them!

The Braves scare me right now. They are about 2 players away from being a great team and about 2 players away from losing 85 games this season. Im just worried that the starters are going to get worn out by the allstar break because Cox wont be able to pull a starter after 6 innings with a 2 run lead in fear that the bullpen will blow it. There is not a single reliable arm in that pen. Shurholtz must do something soon.

I agree, CHOP, but I think we had the same problem last year and managed to get around it. I think that Villareal and Cormier, the offseason acquisitions, looked pretty good in Spring Training and have a good chance to do pretty well.

I can't believe that Scheurholtz didn't secure a closer in the offseason, especially with all those trade rumors swirling around John Thomson. Hopefully someone in the bullpen will step up, maybe it will be Chuck James the youngster, but I honestly believe that our bullpen will be considerably better this year than last, with the exception of the closer spot, which is, of course, the most important.

I think that if we give them some time to work out the kinks, have a few home series in front of a happy crowd they'll turn out OK, Reitsma is really the one that worries me.

And so does this...http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/NASAp...t_id=1386106&vkey=news_atl&fext=.jsp&c_id=atl

Jeff Francoeur - how long will it take for a walk this year, 150-180 Abs?

Guy has a rocket for an arm.

I cant wait till the lightbulb goes off in his head. The guy is such a raw talent. There is no ceiling for the guy. He just needs to learn patience. He is a better fielder than Andrew Jones. I know the ESPN crowd does not broadcast that, but take it from someone who watches 150+ Braves games a year. Hes that good.

You cannot comprehend how tired I am of seeing Reitsma blow game after game. I am 100% convenced that he has blown more wins for the Braves than any 1 player since 1991. He is a curse!!!! He almost blew the Braves 11-5 lead against the Dodgers on opening day. Hes even worse than Ray King.

Im ready to throw Joey Devine into the mix and see what he can do even though he did not have a great spring.
