Cardinals are the "Murderer's Row" of the National League

This Lineup is loaded again. I cant see anyone contending with them this year in the National League. I know it is early, but when the umps squeeze the strike zone on the opposing pitchers......you are screwed. They stay healthy they will win 100 games plus. I cant convince myself to bet against these guys anymore this season....Pujols and company are loaded. Currently they have scored 4 in the 5th against the Phillies and are still batting with 1 out.

You haven't been watching have you? The ining started with a HBP, double by the pitcher, and error on Bell. That's what you call a loaded line up? Phillies fked it. Plain and simple. Instead of a runer on 3rd 2 out game, they let them score 4 runs.

Ive been watching todays game zee......Im not saying that they are putting on a clinic today. What I am saying is that I believe that they are going to win more than 100 games if they keep their lineup healthy. I know that I couldnt bet against them. They are good. Im just stating the facts. I have the under today........dont know what I was thinking.

Hopefully the Phillies can rebound, and pull this one out. They need it. Its nice to get that first "W" of the new season under your belt.

I have the under too and am really bitter about that inning....I don't like the Cards this year, but it's early days. You may be right.

I don't buy it. Pujols is a beast and maybe Rolen will get back near where he once was, but I don't think there's that much else. Edmonds is alright but in decline and unlikely to stay healthy. Just not that impressed with the rest of the lineup. Aaron Miles is not going to hit .600 all season. We shall see. As far as "murderer's row" they've got one serial killer for sure, but the reest or just suspects. Will anyone else in the lineup even hit .300 or 30 HR? Not murderer's row.

Miles maybe the difference maker......he is pesky. When you have 2 pesky bastards in the lineup....along with Eckstein.....They do their jobs and set the table for Pujols....Edmunds and Rolen......Man I would like to have that order on my team. Especially in the National League.

That's probably the worst defensive performance of the season so far. Even Dunn vs the Cubs in the opener seemed more coherent.

Adam Dunn.....is and awful left fielder. I know he wins games with his bat, but he costs the team just as many in the field. The man belongs in the AL at DH.

The Phillies are the worst defensive team in the National League. Cant execute situations at all.....What the hell did they do during spring training? I think the Mangager needs to run situations everyday for this team. Un-earned run afte un-earned run is going to kill them.
