Alot goes on in the off season, and alot of information is not known league wide. If you know something that you don't feel is common knowledge, and want others to be aware of it to help in their capping efforts, perhaps you could post it in this thread.

Not sure if ppl are aware that in Philly, during the off season, there was a stadium modification. The left field wall was moved back about five feet and raised a couple of feet, so alot of homeruns contributing to the over at Phillies home games, will be outs this year. I saw countless balls land in the little flower bed in left last year, they will be caught this year....still somewhat of a small park but the over fell short the last 2 days in PHilly and I observed at least 3 balls that would have been homers last year that were caught in the Cards/Phillies opening series, due to the modification. Just somethign to think about when taking a Phillies over at home.

If you know something that you feel others may not know, let us know here!! I am sure we all will appreciate anything you may have to offer!!

Great thread to start. My personal tidbit is in regards to Miller Park in Milwaukee. They have moved the RF fences in about 10-15 feet in order for the Brewers lefties to hit more home runs this year. I'm sure this will lead to more homers overall, especially to all lefties.

Good thread

There already was a homer in that spot (Miller Park) that would have been an out last year.

Wrigley has put up more bleacher seats in right and left. I believe there are walls behind them too.

Wind is blowing in today we should get a glimse of the effect.
Anyone from Chicago got anything on the wind today?
