OT- need help -- Posting XCEL spread sheets into RX forum....

how do you do it? every time I try the formatting gets messed up?

The only tricky thing about it is that it is fixed-width (monospaced). 

Takes a little practice but when you get the hang of it, there's nothing better.

I tried using that code, yes, the problem I encountered was I coudnt post the XCEL doc into the Boys of Summer contest room.....

I found out later that that room was 'smaller' than the rest so that might be the problem..... I am having that researched now.

The Question I have, is do you have to copy & paste directly from XCEL? or do you have to paste it into WORD first?

Is there anything you have to do to the EXCEL copy & paste so you are using as little data as possible?

Copy it directly from XCEL. As long as all columns that you are copy and pasting are adjacent to each other, there's no problem. If there are columns in between, just hide them first and then copy and paste. I think that's what you mean. :icon_conf

have you ever known the size of the particular folder to be a problem?

for some reason I can post my spreadsheet offshore, but not in the forum in question.... (Boys of Summer)

its possible that is working now JOH because I spoke with Edgar on IM this morning & asked him to change the settings on the Boys of Summer contest folder....

I am gonna try it again when I get home.....

If I still cannot do it.... I will post again.....
