Split last night on a pair of small favorites, coming back with a pair of short dogs tonight:
(1) Texas (Karonka) plus 1.06 over Detroit (Maroth) (2 units)_ The Rangers have played well historically at Ameriquest Field and are coming off back-to-back losses. Plus Texas has had its way with Maroth in a small sample of games.
(2) Anaheim (Escobar) plus 1.00 over NY Yankees (Chacon) (1 unit) _ The Angels are one team that has not shied away from standing toe-to-toe with the Yankees. The Yankees are the small favorites because they're, well, the Yankees, but we'll take the Angels at home.
YTD: 5-2 (plus 1.63 units). My bets range from 1-to-3 units, mostly 1s and 2s. I won't insult by saying I'm up 10,000 units or anything like that.
