thought id missed this, but the rain delay allows me to get on it. it should be starting in 30 minutes according to reds radio. absolutely love the value in eric milton here. he was sharp this spring after a horrible 2005. thinking he will surprise some people this year and return to his 2004 form.

milton looking good. i love flyball pitchers after a thunderstorm delay. those long fly balls just seem to die in the air.

I agree. I took Milton expecting him to return to form and thus far in the game he is looking good. Lets hope this continues

And right on cue as I say how good he is pitching they start hammering everything he throws up. Three balls that were crushed and now the lead is cut to 5-2

hehe yeah, never fails - we bring the jinx!

pirates had sent 3 to the track already tonight before this inning. narron will pull milton soon - hes due up 3rd next inning, they prefer he pitch more innings on the road. but he did his job - 6ip 2er!!
