They were only a 3 seed. It isnt like they ran through everybody. They were 10-6 in the SEC and played I think 1 tourney team in the non conference - hardly dominating. Just no real dominant teams in the tourney this year. A bunch of teams could have won it but the Gators went on a run and got it done. Wouldnt call them an excellent team. Obviously a very good team though. Just takes so much to get through the single elimination field one time - let alone twice. Even if they are the preseason #1, they face pretty long odds.
