I would really like to be off to a better start, but at least if you have been using good MM you are up for the season. On a 100 unit pace even with the slow start. I hope to break this mini 2 day losing streak today.

I think the Cubs/Cards game is a toss up...but what I find most entertaining about this is the best hitter the Cubs have against Carpenter is Zambrano...career 5-7 hitting...:missingte

It's two really solid pitchers looking to rebound...and since I know you already played these what I say can't talk you out of anything...but for the record...Dusty looks like he is coming around using Tony's suicide squeeze play (although it didn't work, foul ball) yesterday...he would have never done that in the past...Could be a good sign for Cubbie fans...

I really like the Oakland play, and would guess that they will be on a lot of your cards this season (I know they will be on mine!). I have to root against you on 2 of your plays, as I have the Cubs and the Tigers. Out of curiosity, why do you like the Cards on Saturday? I think Zambrano is slightly underrated, as he is almost as good as Carpenter IMO.

I dont think any person respects Zambrano more than me.

I cant think of a single advantage the Cubs have in this game other than its being played in Chicago. Carpenter has owned the Cubs for a long time now. The only game Carpenter has ever lost against the Cubs is a head to head matchup last season against Zambrano very late in the season after StLouis put everything in Cruise control.

I dont see Carpenter giving up more than 3 runs. And even if Zambrano is as good as Carpenter, that StLouis lineup will give him a tremendous challenge that Carpenter does not have to deal with.

At -114 its a steal.
