Today was a very good day, as we got 2 big time dogs to hit in Kansas City and Tampa Bay. Two very nice comebacks in those games as well. Overall, the records are as follows:

Friday: 6-3 +4.26 Units

Overall YTD: 21-16 +5.27 Units

Remember, all of these plays are ALWAYS based on only 1 unit.

I like some of the big dogs again tomorrow, and continue to see a lot of value across the board. Here are the initial plays for my card:

Florida +143 NY Mets
Florida-NY Mets OVER 7.5 (+106)
Detroit +139 Texas
Philadelphia -108 LA Dodgers
Minnesota +140 Cleveland
Oakland -110 Seattle
Chi Cubs +117 St. Louis

Let's keep the winners coming! I may post an additional play or two in the morning based on line movement, so stay tuned. Good luck to all!

Your listed record for Friday's post was:

Friday (15-12 YTD +2.01 Units)

Add this for Friday's results: 6-3 +4.26 Units

And you get: 21-15 +6.27 units

Instead of: 21-16 YTD +5.27 Units

Did you give yourself less credit than you deserve?

Maybe i'm missing something.

In any case, good luck on Saturday & the rest of the season.

There was actually one game pending when I posted my record as 15-12. It was a late game that ended up being a loser (-1 unit), so I was actually 15-13 before yesterday. Thanks for paying attention though. Let's keep on rolling!

Looking good early with the Cubbies coming through by a 3-2 squeaker. Zambrano pitched masterfully giving up 0 ER, as did Carpenter. It just came down the Cubs having better arms in the pen, and D. Lee!

Three of my plays got postponed due to the rain, which is upsetting considering Philly was my top play. Still 3 more games left on the card today. Let's get 2 of those, and call it a really nice again.

Good luck!

Nice job Waz.

Getaway day for a lot of teams tommorow.

Thanks Pat. It was a very nice day today, as I managed to only suffer one loss. The dogs are starting to bite, especially some of the big dogs!

I'm not sure that getaway day will be that big of a factor this early on in the year. What are your thoughts on this?

I've got my picks for Sunday going up in a few minutes in a separate post. Here is the status thus far for the year:

Today: 3-1 +2.47 Units (Based on only 1 unit for every bet)
YTD: 24-17 +7.73 Units (Based on only 1 unit for every bet)

Let's continue the roll!

i just think that a lot of teams that need a win that have done poorly to open the season will try their ass off for a win.
And the teams that have flown out of the gate will use players that haven't played more especially if they are down early.
