I think most Red Sox fans would say thanks for Coco. Although we will miss Eddies errors on routine plays and his lack of clutch hitting.

It was a bad fit for him in Boston. You are very welcome, the trade allowed us to get Coco Crisp who is even better than I thought and a definate upgrade at CF than the Red Sox have had over the years.

he was awful last year and sox fans started calling him edgar renta "error". he led the al in errors and it seems he is one of those guys who is better suited for the inferior nl baseball compared to the al.:lolBIG:

lol edgar is amusing. said that the main reason he picked boston because they showed they wanted him more than st louis i guess he did not know what he was in for --if he would have stayed in st louis they would have forgiven him for that year he is not made to play anywhere on the east coast he cant handle the pressure-- worst decision i have seen in a while sometimes the money just is not worth it. to his credit they were saying he was really down about the year and hired a personal trainer to get back on track.

Didn't he blame his problems there on the Fenway infield??

He is a solid SS...but you can't say you can't believe the hate Boston fans have for him. He was making something like $9 million last year and led the league in errors while being very mediocre offensively.

It is possible for a human being to have a bad year. Crazy I know :howdy:

$9 Million is not a cheap price to pay for a bad year

yeah it is. when Esteban Loiaza is getting 7 million a year, i think its ok for Rentaria to have 1 bad year and bounce back.
