adding:
Houston Astros -1 (-117) (2.93)
Minnesota Twins (+132) (1.00)
Texas Rangers -1 (-101) (6.57)
p.s. - my units are not 2% of a bankroll (that if I lose will not change my lifelstyle). they are still based off of my original bankroll, but i would need to lose A LOT to get back down to that again. just a warning to those that may think a 6.57 unit play on the rangers is my "lock of the century".
Astros: Everyone knows how good Oswalt is now, so it is hard to get value out of him anymore. Jose Guillen will be sitting this out, so I think Oswalt should have a fairly easy time today. If he doesn't, however, Torpedo (0-2, -4 units YTD) will be the first person to point it out and make everyone that bet Houston look like an idiot. If i could choose 2 magical powers, it would be to know the outcome of every game BEFORE it happens, and the other would to kick Torpedo off of this great site. Go Astros!
Minny: the Twins will have the best pitching today, but will they give them the support they need to win? that's why it's a small play and write-up.
Rangers: Too many things to say what is great about this play IMO. Millwood should cool down the Tiger's bats a little, and i think the Rangers might have a great day at the plate. Plus, it doesnt hurt knowing that the Tiger's will be without Pudge today (most likely), due to "rest" (the line may go up when the official line-up card comes out). but as the year goes on... a 6.57 unit play may be an everyday occurance. I have just been getting my feet wet to start the year.
