Unfortunately for Mike Lowell he is still looking like the worst everyday player in MLB .

:puppy:

He has no game off the juice.

Still? This will be his first year with that honor, as my man Christian Guzman took home that prize last season.

Too bad they dont have anyone to close the door after the 7th when they have the lead. Could be a long year for the Bo Sox. Foulke is definitly not the answer, and Papelbon has never been in this type of situation his short career..I have my doubts.

On other thing of note....Schilling threw 117 pitches his first outing and threw another 114 tonight. I doubt he will stay healthy all year if he goes out and throws this many pitches each outing....especially since he is only getting into the 7th innings.....plus. We shall see.

Well what he has shown is an ability to shut a team down again, with his A game stuff, he's been extremely sharp.

He will need his pen tonight, done after 7.

red sox have plenty of good options to pitch 8th and 9th innings this year. will not be a problem at all.

if by chance they are not getting good closing, they will make a trade in-season anyway

Great game so far. Boston has blown many opportunities which has kept it interesting. Hope they can hang on.

I didnt bet, but Papelbon is warming up....good news for red sox bettors, bad news for orioles betters ( Foulke is rusty and easier to hit)

BTW , early in the game, Manny took away extra bases on Conine which would have scored two...
