Would like to start one of these to add to and to look back at.

Tonight, the 'BBOTN' goes to the Astros backers;

5-0 in the first , with Ace Oswalt on the hill and not even close as the Nats win going away 12-8!

At another site I used to post at we would award a nightly "Cock Maggot" prize.

It was awarded for the single most pathetic performance that totally f*cked a bet you made to tears.

My official candidate for todays award goes to Mr. Hudson.

Perhaps to be more politically correct we could just call it the "CM" Nightly Award.

Had Baltimore R/L and Curt Schilling was lights out all game but gave up a solo HR. They win 2-1.

Had the Stros too.

Had the Braves too. Sense a common theme for me tonight?

Yeah Hudson was horrible. He's suppose to be the ace out there? Pull Roger McDowell out of retirement and he'd do better.

Detroit getting 4 in the first and the game died on 7, that was a little tough for the over players....

In Texas, you expect some runs....not a true Bad beat, but a stinger for sure.

I'm not sold on Hudson as a bonafide ace anymore....he has too many games where he unravels around the middle innings.

Friday night, I had Boston (straight up) and Toronto -1 1/2 and the Braves over in a 3 teamer. I check scores early: Sox were up 8-0 and Toronto was up 6-0. I don't check again all night. Who'd a thunk that the Rays would come back? Not me, obviously.

I had the Angels -1.5 +270 vs Randy Johnson.

9 th inning solo shot from Matsui kills it.

back to back nights in the Boys of summer contest i had teams blow 5-0 leads.

could be 5-1 to start. ended up 3-3 and down money.

the other loss was the cardinals blowing a 2-0 lead heading to the 7th . pull carpenter after 97 pitches and lose.

let the guy go til the 9th...

I think that baseball has more so called "Bad beats" in it becuase, most games are deceided in the 8th and 9th innings, not to metion those "BAD calls" that seem to always happen.
