Things have continued to be consistent over the last few days, and throughout this first week of the season. Today was definitely no different. The lines being posted by the books are still very encouraging, and it looks like their will be continuous value throughout the month of April. Here are the results thus far:

Today: 3-1 +2.47 Units (Based on only 1 unit for every bet)
YTD: 24-17 +7.73 Units (Based on only 1 unit for every bet)

Sunday's card boasts plenty of value as well, and here are the best bets:

Arizona +153 Milwaukee

Arizona-Milwaukee OVER 8.5 (+109)

Minnesota -111 Cleveland
The Tribe have been on quite a roll since their Opening Day loss to the White Sox. However, nobody stops a streak better than the best pitcher in baseball....Johan Santana. Mr. Santana has fared very well against the Indians recently, and the Twins bats will wake up knowing that their ace is on the hill.

Oakland -128 Seattle

Pittsburgh +132 Cincinnati
The Pirates are simply not as bad as they have started (0-6). They're not going to compete for a playoff spot or anything crazy like that, but they are a decent team. I like their chances for getting their first win in this one.

ChiCubs +117 St. Louis
The Cubs will go for a sweep in this ESPN Sunday night matchup. The Cubs actually have played very well against the Cards and have won 13 of the last 20 in the series. The Cubs throw rookie Sean Marshall out there, but the Cards can only counter with a damaged Sidney Ponson. Cubs are playing very well, and I see them taking care of business once again.

Florida-NY Mets OVER 7.5 (+101)
I liked this play on Saturday, but we obviously didn't get to see it because of the rain. I like it even more now, because the pitchers are off of their routine being pushed a day back.

These are my initial 7 plays, and I will be adding 1 or 2 tomorrow morning as usual. Good luck to all.

I like the Over in the Florida-NY Mets game for several reasons. For starters, let's talk about the starters. Willis had a career year last season, and probably won't quite put up those same numbers again. I feel that Glavine is on a major decline, and he could totally fall apart this year. Additionally, the Mets lineup is amazing, and will put up quite a few runs this season, regardless of the hurlers they face. The Marlins offense is also not as bad as people are making it out to be. Throw in a couple of weaker bullpens, and there you go. All things point to Over in this matchup, so I like my chances. I only see 1 way we will lose this game, and that will be if Willis comes out absolutely dominating and is able to go 8 or 9 innings. Not likely against this lineup IMO.

Good luck either way smartz!

Adding 2 more plays before the days gets going:

San Diego -186 Colorado
Texas - 102 Detroit

Good luck to everyone. Some of the normally solid cappers are struggling right now, so hopefully we can all finish in the black today!

One last selection, and I'm finally done for the day. Once again, I know it seems like there are a lot of plays on my card each day. However, all of these have sufficient value according to my system. And the way things have been going, I have to keep trusting the "blackbox." The card will start to diminish in number of plays once the linesmakers get their act together.

Here goes:

Detroit-Texas OVER 10 (+100)
Neither one of the starters is all that impressive, and both of these offenses can plate runs with ease. I will predict that one of these teams will have an inning of 5+ runs, and that will be enough to get us over the hump.

10 total plays for today.......my biggest card of the season thus far. I will take a 5-5 or 6-4 day if we can get the doggies to bite again. Good luck!

Nice job on the day my man. You have been killin with all your underdog picks.

Your Pittsburgh and Zona picks were simply brilliant. I thought you got lucky when you nailed both KC and TB in one day earlier this week, but I was definitely wrong.

If people havent figured out that you are for real yet...well they are missing out on an opportunity to make some nice cash....

Keep em coming... lets win some :money8:

Thanks for the props. It was a fantastic week, and there will definitely be more good to come. Just stay tuned and your wallets will get fatter.

By the way, I just posted my picks for Monday, in a new thread. Small card, but I like it.
