Anyone think that once you buy in you start winning and the good cards come than if you cash out a little of your winnings you start losing them. It happens to me everytime I play. It seems like they it set it like that. The players that are on fresh buy ins win than the players who cash out a little will not be as lucky.

Im sorry to tell you that I cant test your theory, because in order to test your theory that would require me to acually withdraw money from a pokerroom. Part of the process that I have never takin part in.:lolBIG:

On a side note I quit depositing money about 3 months ago, never to go back.

I think it was more of a waste of time than it was money. You have to ask yourself an honest question. If you cant make at least $10-$15 bucks an hour on average, you can find better things to do that is more profitable.

A lot of people become a lot looser once winning a little. Not saying its what happened to you, but a possibility.

I have made 8 withdrawals in the last 20 days and it hasn't changed anything.

Are you talking about pokerroom.com? If so, I gota agreed with everything you said. Everytime when I requested a cashout, all my cards, poker, and BJ are like shiz...eventually, I have to cancel my cashout and lose them all back, I'm glad I self blocked my account over there though, it's one of the best things I did to myself.

There are tons of theories about online poker and this is one of the ones you hear about the most. There was a time when I thought this may have been true but the experience of making countless withdrawals and quite a few deposits has shown that there is no merit to it. I make a withdrawal around once a week and if your theory were true, I would not be making withdrawal after withdrawal. I just made a withdrawal last night from Celeb poker and today I had one of my best days of the year. Poker is just such a streaky game. You are going to have your good runs and you are going to have your bad runs where you think something has to be up. I make a living playing online poker and I highly doubt there is anything fraudulant about online poker - at leas the sites I play at.

I think most people lose online because of there own Impatience and dumb play wanting to chase the rush ....they go on tilt the instant the lose a few hands...

Patience solid players if they keep from going on tilt will win for the most part in the long run IMO

Pags.

I am just like you, its "cyberspace" and as you well know anything can happen there.
One would think that the on-line casinos are rigged for sure, so why not the poker as well. Which i am sure that its not "squeaky" clean either.

Even one of our respected Mods calls it "Carckjack" lol

reminds me of something my father used to say about the three misconceptions of life
1) everybody thinks their house is worth more than it really is
2) everybody thinks their kids are smarter than they really are
3) everybody thinks they're a better poker player than they really are

I don't even mess with online poker 'cause I think it's rigged...

Just remember that brick and mortar poker can be rigged too. Players can lay down their hands a certain way if they are bad and another way if they are good. Their "friends" can tell if they will be betting. Hand signals also can give teams an advantage.

At least in online poker the sites can detect if certain IP addresses are always playing the same tables. That is, for those who don't mask their IP's.

Most people are just bad poker players, plain and simple. Even bad players go on a good enough run to be able to cash out.

the part that has me wondering is the 9 man sit and go's i have played in , and they number close to 1000 , all seem to end within 5 minutes of each other .

they all last between 55 and 65 minutes.

like they are on some kind of timer . cause they know the players will probably sign up for another one if they can get the one their in over with..
