Agree. Those little girls are adorable. Always good to see when an athlete has life in proper perspective.

The only thing better would be having In-N-Out burgers waiting for you in the clubhouse! Mick's favorite.

That blond head bobbing up and down on my Masters winning Johnson would also be a sweet bonus.

But heres the question for all of us here at the rx. Can any of us do what Phil did when his wife gave birth to their 3rd child. After the delivery there were a few complications and his wife almost died. As she was in the operating room getting treated, Phil promised God that she was ok he would quit gambling. He used to like to put alot of money down, especially NFL games and quit cold turkey. He has said that he has not gambled since. Can any of us do that, quit for good. I for one cannot.

Haven't wagered in months, but have never wagered above $50 on a single bet and only been casually doing it for 2.5 years.

It is possible, but then again I am only 20 and am a saver and keep myself busy with college, my sports media work, and am financially secure because of family.

Get some hobies and distract yourself.

Sweet...maybe now he will pay back the people he owes with his gambling debts. He is a stiff.

Sure hope he pays that Crap tab that i stood good for in Scottsdale long ago. I hardly think that will happen as he is PURE STIFF ! I blow off the sports tab he owes.

Its actually public knowledge, he has talked about his decision many times in many different interviews.

Not that it should necessarily change your view on the subject, but you do realize the majority of the world's biggest bettors are what you would characterize as stiffs. If you have a known square you give lots of rebates and breaks to keep them playing. The whales of the world have pretty standard terms they operate under, usually getting rebated 30-40% of their losses. If they ever do decide to quit playing trust me they don't settle up anything you kicked them back.

I dont miss a lot of interviews involving guys like Mickelson and have never heard of him saying anything like that.

I find it hard to believe that he would say he prayed and told god he would never gamble again.

And if he actually did that while his wife was struggling , I cant believe he would make it " public knowledge " .

That sounds idiotic ..

Give me a break - what in the world does gambling have to do with his wifes health?
