Well....the Blackbox did it again, as it showed plenty of value on the board with 10 plays today, and we were able to grind out a 5-5 day with almost a unit of profit due to the fact that the dogs played great once again. Here are the results, risking 1 unit for each play:

Today: 5-5 +0.83 Units
YTD: 29-22 +8.57 Units

Week 1 was very very good (in the black 5 of the 7 days), especially considering the unpredictability of the first week, and some of the weird results we have seen. Hopefully Week 2 can be half as good as Week 1, and I will be satisified. Here are the selections for the beginning of Week 2, on Monday:

Baltimore -114 Tampa Bay
Philadelphia +108 Atlanta
Washington +114 Houston

Smallest card of the young season, and I only see one other play that can potentially be added based on line movement. I will never increase the number of my plays, even when things are going very well. I only play when I see a certain % of value, and these are the only 3 that met that threshhold.

Good luck to all. Remember it's a long season, and their will be plenty of ups and downs. I know that many of the respected cappers are currently on the downside, so I wish those and their followers best of luck to turn things around.

My system calculates that the Pittsburgh line is pretty close to accurate, so I am staying away. Zach Duke will be a very good pitcher this season, but it's tough to lay -130 with the Pirates and all of their holes. I see that everyone is on Pittsburgh, so I guess that could be good...... or bad. Good luck!

Cool man thanks for the info... Yeah I agree the line is a little steep but they are coming off a win and they are at home. A couple of guys are swinging the bats real well (Castillo and Bay) so i will take my chances today. I just wanted to make sure that your blackbox wasnt going the other way in which i would have promptly reversed my bet.

Thanks again and lets roll around in some :money8: today.

I am adding one more late play for this afternoon. Sorry for not getting it on there earlier, but it wasn't a play until the line kept moving and moving.

Milwaukee +166 St. Louis
I can't believe how many people kept on pounding St. Louis in this one. It probably has a lot to do with this being the first game in their new stadium, so I guess it's not too surprising. However, this is way too much wood for St. Louis to be laying in this matchup. Ohka can hold his own, and I like the Brewers bats. I, like many others, have Milwaukee as a nice sleeper team this year.

Good luck!

Let's go Nationals.....they made a nice mini-comeback to tie it at 3-3. However, I think they need to get another run or two off of Wandy, otherwise it will be tough to plate anything against that Houston pen. Let's do it......this is the inning!

Ohka is 1-1 as an away underdog vs Cards.
0-1-1 O/U/

Ohka is 2-0 a Road dog with the line 160-180 and the o/u line @ 8.5-9.

however...

I do like the line movement though any time youe see the line move 20 cents like that...go the opposite of the line movement.

Interesting stats there Pat. However, I'm not sure exactly how useful they are given that we only have 10 instances of this. Hopefully we can buck this mini-trend. GO BREW CREW!!!

Just something to throw out there Waz...like i said I like going the opposite of the line movement with a big movement...thats usually the best indicator of the kiss of death.

Ohka shows up for these games too...all kinds of value.People don't understand baseball betting, its all value.

I played W/Sox
Dodgers
and Phills tonight.

I just threw a .50 unit on the Brews...+167 at pinny what I found interesting the brews at +167 but the runline at brews -136 +1.5 for almost a whole dollar difference.

Yeah......that happens occasionally when I game gets pounded. One of the lines (ML or Runline) will be out of whack because it's not getting the same action.

Ohka looked uncharacteristically wild in the first inning. Hopefully he got all of that out of his system, because this would be a nice score.

Chad Cordero blows a save in the bottom of the 10th inning......maybe this won't be my day. They still have a shot, but I don't like the rest of the bullpen options remaining for the Nats. Let's get a break.
