They were terrible. The way they give an excuse for Tiger not winning. The way they always seem to make whatever shot Tiger has comming up to be the hardest shot ever. Than when he knocks it stiff they say only Tiger could have mde that shot. I'm sure everybody knows that Tiger is the best golfer out there. He even might be embarassed by all the stupid comments thay make.

I have been into golf for some years now, I turned pro after college, but I only like Miller because he says whats on his mind and does not hide anything. Remember when Justin Leonard won you guys the Ryder in broklyn, after saturday morning Miller was like I think we should sit Leonard out and just give the point away

he always refers to how HE would have played the shot differently...
look johnny....you had a small part of your career where you were great, but nothing where you even come close to being one of the games greatest. you are a washed up has been, and everyone looks at you that way. be more positive out there
one thing i have noticed about all commentators is that they make it seem the shot is waaaaaaaaay more difficult that what it really is
i have had the priviledge to play many courses where the PGA plays and have been in spots around the green where some pros have. I hear all the time "He will be lucky to get this within 10 feet".....it is a simple shot if executed right...these PGA guys hit these shots 200 times each week....they are the worlds best golf shot executers.
its just a way to make these guys look even better to the fans at home

I agree completely. To add to this, Johnny Miller got out of golf because he had "the yips". He consistently missed 3 and 4 footers. He now has to balls to call people chokers if they do that. He is an absolute fraud. I am also suprised that he can even do commentary since it seems the whole time he is on air he is blowing Tiger.
Announcers always kiss big-time butt during the Masters because they operate on a one year contract and the pansies that run the Masters will go to other networks if they dare say anything remotely negative. A few years back Gary McCord referred to the crowd at Augusta as a "mob" and Masters management informed CBS that he was no longer welcome there; he hasn't been a part of the crew at the Masters since then.

The more Nance works with Billy Packer, the more I seem to dislike him simply by association. And that whole bashing of the midmajors on Selection Sunday really turned me off, much like Joe Buck with the Randy Moss celebration debacle.
