Sorry about the title, I ran out of room.

If everyone gives out there passwords to the MLB.com/tv package we could avoid the blackout rule. Right now I live about 8 hours away from the Texas Rangers and I am blacked out on both Directv and MLB.com. All help would be appreciated.

You guys should look into getting a Free To Air satellite receiver you can watch every game and you get all the local channels for most of the major cities. You also get about 600 other channels. Also no Blackouts.

Im pretty sure they base the blackout teams on the IP address of the computer you are using to view th egame. So sharing passwords won't help. That proxy idea that somebody posted should work.

I thought they black it out based on your billing address. What's the radius? Does anyone know?

I live within the parameters of the Twins and I cant watch them, but I let my buddy out east use my code an he is able to.....for what its worth.

no I am watching the angels and rangers right now. I now that last year my buddy out in north carolina was able to watch the twins with my id....they must have done some changes this year.....oh well. We gave it a try.
