As some of you have noticed from the WRX "Contest", I'm colder than the right sink-handle at capping the past few days. So I don't like to force the issue. So, I've been playing more poker lately. Went to Hard Rock tonight, when to my suprise....my arch nemesis walked in.........Antoine Walker.

'Toine royally screwed me out of $500 on a 5 unit Miami Heat under recently....about a few weeks ago. *Cue the bad beat story* With my under well in the bag, the Heat (and I forget the other team) managed to score roughly 30 points in 2 mins, capped by Antoine Walker's unnecessary 3-pointer from about 8 feet beyond the 3-point arch at the buzzer, to push it over the total by 1 point. Not only that, but he has taken my beloved home town basketball team, and turned them into pretenders this year with his airballs, bricks, weak finishes, ugly shots, etc. It's safe to say, Antoine Walker is not my favorite person.

Back to the present tense, I'm playing poker at the Hard Rock tonight, and instead of this guy working on actually hitting rim on 3-pointers, he wants to play poker. I quickly scout the line and line up to sit at his table for a $250 sit n go. I succeed and eventually was the one to knock him out when he blew his chip lead to me, ran low on chips and desperately went all-in with K4 off vs. my big blind special A6off. I was chip leader and gladly took the opportunity to knock him out. I doubt he'll lose any sleep over it. I eventually got 1st and took a nice $1200 1st place prize. But for those keeping score at home....Slayer 1, Toine 1. Toine +$250.

I got half of my money back from him. I wanted to tell him so bad that he fucked my under bet with that shot. Like a psycho girl who gets dumped by her high school boyfriend, I thought about what I would do to Toine if I ever saw him in person. So many things I wanted to say to that guy crossed my mind. But I refrained. LMAO. I thought it was fate that I would take his money in poker. Just an interesting story that I thought Id share with therx.

Lots of sports players at the Hard Rock. Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, Ladanian has been there a few times, Heat players, Louis Oliver, and tons more. Oh yeah and A. Walker.

Slayer you should have said something, had him kick the shit out of you, and then get your 500 dollars back plus interest and a Hummer (the car for all you Winky like minds), and some spending cash.

Plus the best thing about the Hard Rock is the players. The majority blow.

Way to fight the good fight boxslayer....Toine got me too on that shot.

Would have loved to hear his reaction if you mentioned it after knocking his buster ass out of the poker tourney....

Box,

When I read the title of the thread, I was hoping that you beat his ass or told him that he sucked to his face. I was contemplating going down to meet him at Dilliards, where he was doing an autograph appearance, to tell him that he sucked. I mean I am sure that he knows I feel that way, as I scream "Antoine you fucking suck" repeatedly every home Heat game. I am only up about 15 rows, so I am sure that he can hear me.

Well glad that you took his money, but I was hoping for a little more here. Fuck, I hate toine. Hate him more than any other heat player in history, including Jamal Mashburn and eddie Jones.

Once again, congrats on taking his money.

Trust me, it all crossed my mind. Then I realized how highly psychotic it would be. If I was sitting next to him at the table, I probably would of leaned over and said something. But I was at the other end of the table. On a side note, he actually has a decent grasp on the game, he made a few nice lay downs. Obviously practices poker more than his basketball. Not a surprise to those that see him play nightly.

A black Mercedes Benz that was taken from NBA star Antoine Walker during a robbery at his River North home Monday evening was recovered this morning by the police.
Detectives were having the car towed from where it was found at Karlov and Potomac so it could be searched for leads into who forced Walker into his home at gunpoint, robbed him of cash and jewelry and took the car.
At least three robbers, wearing masks and carrying handguns, forced Walker into his home at about 6:30 p.m. Monday. <!-- start sidebar -->

Chicago resident Antoine Walker, who played for Mount Carmel High School, is a forward for the Miami Heat.
<!-- Fact box starts here -->

It was the second time Walker has been the victim of a robbery. He was robbed of a $50,000 watch at gunpoint while sitting in a car on the South Side during the summer of 2000.

“He’s shook up,” said Mark Bartelstein, his Chicago-based agent. “Who wouldn’t be? It’s a horrible, horrible thing.”

speaking of heat players fucking people over.

How about D Wade in that one game I think it was like 2-3 yrs ago when cavs were @ heat and Wade purposely goaltended Lebron's last 3 pt attempt on purpose with no time left just because he felt like it. Heat won and cavs covered because of the nonsense goaltend.

Kinda off topic of this thread but fuck it.

When Walker played in Boston, I felt the same way. I hated him. Shooting threes like crazy, little defense, very arrogant and hate his game.

The Best Line I heard about the Walker robbery was...

"How did Walker stop the robber from getting a shot off..."
