As some of you have noticed from the WRX "Contest", I'm colder than the right sink-handle at capping the past few days. So I don't like to force the issue. So, I've been playing more poker lately. Went to Hard Rock tonight, when to my suprise....my arch nemesis walked in.........Antoine Walker.
'Toine royally screwed me out of $500 on a 5 unit Miami Heat under recently....about a few weeks ago. *Cue the bad beat story* With my under well in the bag, the Heat (and I forget the other team) managed to score roughly 30 points in 2 mins, capped by Antoine Walker's unnecessary 3-pointer from about 8 feet beyond the 3-point arch at the buzzer, to push it over the total by 1 point. Not only that, but he has taken my beloved home town basketball team, and turned them into pretenders this year with his airballs, bricks, weak finishes, ugly shots, etc. It's safe to say, Antoine Walker is not my favorite person.
Back to the present tense, I'm playing poker at the Hard Rock tonight, and instead of this guy working on actually hitting rim on 3-pointers, he wants to play poker. I quickly scout the line and line up to sit at his table for a $250 sit n go. I succeed and eventually was the one to knock him out when he blew his chip lead to me, ran low on chips and desperately went all-in with K4 off vs. my big blind special A6off. I was chip leader and gladly took the opportunity to knock him out. I doubt he'll lose any sleep over it. I eventually got 1st and took a nice $1200 1st place prize. But for those keeping score at home....Slayer 1, Toine 1. Toine +$250.
I got half of my money back from him. I wanted to tell him so bad that he fucked my under bet with that shot. Like a psycho girl who gets dumped by her high school boyfriend, I thought about what I would do to Toine if I ever saw him in person. So many things I wanted to say to that guy crossed my mind. But I refrained. LMAO. I thought it was fate that I would take his money in poker. Just an interesting story that I thought Id share with therx.
