My brother was real cool with Proof and is all upset about it. I just read about it and thought about the Eninem video where Proof is shot and dies at the hospital. Talk about life imitating art. You can't go anywhere in the D these days without wondering what's going to happen next. He was at a hole-in-the wall club, in the early morning, on the East side. Not a good mix there and not surprised it happened.
actually i do. one of my best friends was shot numerous times after leaving my house in the younger days. another friend who has been to the pen twice was stabbed in the throat at a local titty bar. both of them lived that life and sadly, it is one of the not so great job perks.

Latest news I heard on the radio today was that that punk Proof was the 1st to shoot in fact the person he shot is in critical condition. So you get what ya get with that lifestyle. Too bad so sad see ya in the slammer in dead. Well he got dead and the person that shot him will get the slammer. What a life, what a waste.
a source that requested anonymity told AllHipHop.com that the rapper was in the club after-hours when a heated verbal argument broke out between Proof and a bouncer, identified by police as 35-year-old Keith Bender, who was seriously wounded with gunshots to the head. "Proof knocked dude down and stood over him with gun in hand," a source said. "The bouncer on the ground didn't shoot Proof, though. Another bouncer did... four times. Twice in the head and twice in the chest/stomach area."
