when the red sox won in 04 joe buck called that last out (i believe a comebacker to the pitcher) and said something like the boston red sox are the 20004 world champions.

i always pictured buck calling the last out and saying the curse of the bambino is no more. anyone else use to think up ways over the years the final out would be called when the red sox finally did win a ws?

the game was tied when that ball was hit to billy buck...wasn't it?
