I'm heading down for a weekend in May.

Anyone ever been there? I was wondering what kind of poker you can play there. According to their web site all they have is 'carribean stud poker', which sounds really stupid.

Any info would be appreciated.

I believe there is a poker room at the CRYSTAL PALACE , which is over the bridge and short cab ride up the beach on Nassau , also heard that the games are VERY loose.

Was at Atlantis in November and there was not poker room. They only had slots and table games. It’s a beautiful resort. I made use of the days and chilled at night. Great time.

No poker there at Atlantis.

There's another casino in the bahamas where you can plya, but the rake is outrageous. $6 every half hour?!?!

The players are soft though, so that may make up for it.

$6/half hour is pretty much in line with what you pay in California these days.

I guess...

$6 every half hour pretty much equivalent to the rake of winning a $100 pot every half hour. Think about that.

I dunno...it doesn't seem like much until you think about it.

Where's my $100 pot every 30 minutes?

been there about 7 years ago, but didn't play any poker...nice resort...met Samuel L. Jackson there as well...

was there in february, no poker..but i did have a 1 hour and 20 min roll in craps and got a standing O! :lolBIG:

Boxslayer32, When were you there? Clubman Coop and I were also there at the end of feb.-beginning of march, we witnessed some big money being won on craps a few times. Maybe you were one of them.

Coop was hitting the Wheel of fortune $5 slots like it was an ATM machine.
Lots of cash flowing through that place, I tell yaucking:
