I know this has been discussed here before, but this question goes out to anyone who has followed only 2 cappers in the past and has played each guys plays all year long.
I am currently following 2 guys (won't say who). Most of the time the plays are on different games, but there are some picks on opposite sides of the same game. One guy is down 15-20 units so far and the other guy is up about 15-20 units. All in all, I am down about 2 units. So it looks like I am getting the average of the two.
My question is this, if one guy ends up 100 units and the other guy is up say 50 units, what type of gain have you gotten following both? Should I expect to be up the average, or 75 units? Or can I win/lose more than that. It's a strange theory when you really think about it. Just wondering if I am limiting myself by following 2 guys.
I have enough bankroll to play them both all year, so thats not a concern. I am more interested in figuring out my expected return (# of units) by the end of the year.
Anyone have any experience doing this? Thanks all.
