Team Totals (7-1 Yesterday +6.00 units) <HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Hot as a pistol yesterday.. let's keep the ball rolling

Pittsburgh Pirates Team Total OVER 4.5 -110 vs Los Angeles Dodgers (Derek Lowe) .. Risk 2.2 units to win 2 units.

Another righty in PNC.. Same garbage bullpen against a Pirate lineup that is swinging the bats exceptionally well. Pirates have 6 regulars batting over .300 vs righties so far this year, with a combined 9 home runs between them vs RHP. Love this one again.

===

New York Yankees Team Total OVER 5.5 -130 vs Kansas City Royals (Denny Batista) .. Risk 2.2 units to win 2 units.

Yankees face yet another #5 pitcher today at home. KC's bullpen? UGLY. They added Johnny Damon to the roster to give them a little more pop from the left side of the plate, it'll come into play here, look for him to have a big day as Yanks push towards double digits again.

===

I've looked at all the other early games and I can't really find anything else I like. I'll be back later in the afternoon with the evening picks.

Sekrah look at the Braves game. Both teams starting pitchers are not very good. I think both teams could go over. I am putting some money on the braves

I'm already on the game over per bucsfan, I'll look at it to see if I can find which team will do the most damage.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

I use Olympic.. I'm just experimenting handicapping with these. If the success continues, I may open an account at 5dimes, which apparently has better lines.

Adding:

Baltimore Orioles Team Total OVER 5 -145 vs Tampa Bay Devil Rays (Doug Waechter) .. Risk 2.9 units to win 2 units.

Orioles have been hitting righties well all season and it should be no different against Waechter who went 5.69/1.46/.284 at the Trop last season. He went 7.88/1.81/.343 against the Orioles last year. This one could be batting practice for the O's. Lay the juice and win two units with me.

===

Arizona Diamondbacks Team Total UNDER 5 -130 vs Colorado Rockies (Josh Fogg) .. Risk 2.6 units to win 2 units.

Fogg is career 2.08/0.92/.170 at Chase Field. A park that caters much more to RHP than lefties. Arizona bats have struggled vs righties all season, with only two regulars hitting over .300 against them, and a grand total of only THREE home runs. Rockies bullpen has been very solid this year and you gotta love them anytime they are away from Coors.

Love both of these two plays.. Good luck.

Sekrah congratulations on what looks to be a clean sweeping day on the totals. What things specifically do you look at when arriving at your final decision for a selection or to post a selection or do you have a system, like many others claim to have a lot of the time? In essence, how do you arrive at a selection? For example you had the D-Backs under their team total but you had Pittsburgh over their team total? How did you arrive at both decisions? :103631605

I try to spot several favorable conditions in the game. The commentary under my picks kinda summarizes my thought process.

Couple things I like to see: How well the pitcher has done at the park, whether the ballpark is favorable toward the over or under, how well the opposing team hits RHP or LHP, the quality of bullpen, and a couple other things. If things look positive, it's a go. If there are mixed signals, I'll usually pass unless I got a strong feel one way or another..

Gonna take a look at today's games and see if I can come up with any good ones for today.

Yesterday TT's: 4-0 (+8.00 units).
Season TT's: 10-1 (+14.00 units).
