Did Brewer Mgnt. happen to catch any Braves games last year? Or perhaps any of his 50 meltdowns...he just gave up a homerun that was miraculously pulled out of homerun territory by Lee in left!! What a nightmare it is when you are betting on a team and you see this useless peice of garbage come into the game.

Agreed 100%. Kolb couldn't strike me out. I can't believe the Brewers escaped that inning unscored upon. Let's GO BREW CREW!!! Plate a few runs in this frame!

Mike Maddox (Brewers' pitching coach) is a god among men. I wouldn't be suprised if he is offered a managing job in the near future.

He turned Kolb into a great closer, turned Turnbow from a mediocre pitcher with the Angels to one of the best closers in the league, not to mention helping Matt Wise become an effective setup man. Kolb reuniting with Maddox should cause a big step forward from his performance last year. He won't be nearly as good as he was 2 years ago (as evidenced by today's performance) but he will be serviceable and should be a decent relief pitcher as well as capable of closing every now and again when Turnbow needs a day off.

I will keep these comments in mind and monitor his performance Bat, at this point though, I am very reluctant to believe this...time will tell. Thanks for the heads up though!!

Biggest problem is he is not a strikeout pitcher. Eventially those outs turn to hits.

Exactly...when batters are always putting the ball in play, good things eventually happen offensively.
