Who would play MANSION sportsbook?

I wonder how places like Mansion that have a sportsbook and an exchange make any money on the book...I find better odds on favs and dogs about 99% of the time on the exchange, so who in their right mind is wagering at the Mansion sportsbook?

Doesn't make much sense to me...:smoking:

The exchange can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating for a recreational player that hears rave reviews on Mansion. That is about the only way I could see anyone playing in the actual sportsbook there.

I donam not sure why they have a sportsbook either. Probably just to force people who are nervous about the exchange to check it out.

I love Mansion. I always get better prices there.

I guess I could see that, but they have it set up so that the exchange is almost exactly like their sportsbook. I could see that argument with a place like Tradesports that has their own sort of odds system but Mansion makes it very clear, no conversion to regular US odds or anything...

You hit it right on the head. They have to shoot for the lowest common denominator, and most recreational players have never used an exchange & don't want to learn how to(despite how simple it may be).

Keep it simple for those that want it simple-and there are a lot of them.
