The problem is, we are going to be one and done. Maggette has a herniated disk. We can't replace 20 points a game as he is our only slasher.
We would have been a VERY dangerous team with his slashing/scoring, Cassell at the point, Brand and Kaman in the post, and Radmanovich on the perimeter. Tack on Mobley and Livingston and that is a very potent team.
Without Maggette we are not nearly as dangerous.

Absolutely...that is what I have been saying for weeks. If we fell to #6 we were in a great position.
We also have home court advantage over the Nuggets so it would basically be like we are the #3 seed and they are the #6. That is, if we finish tied or ahead of them in the win/loss column. We hold the tiebreaker.
BUT, we are only a half game behind Memphis and we play them the 2nd to last game of the season. I think that game will decide who is the 5 and who is the 6.
I hope we sign all of our previous scabs for the last 10 years and get them on 10-day contracts to play out the rest of this season!!!
