I finally broke down last night and had a go with Skybook's OL casino. Played craps, BJ, Pai Gow, and bacarat. Yep, it ended up costing me $80 for two hours ($1-$3 a hand). Had to try it. No regrets. Will have it removed so as to not be tempted again.

we have had this discussion before here

if your playing crackjack at these places play for 1$ a hand and you get up 5$ quit and you have juice free wagering for a bet. If you are playing and can not leave and are addicted you are IN BIG BIG TROUBLE

if you stay there and play 100$ 500$ a hand you will lose ..simple

Yes, and won

With the HUNDREDS of casinos out there and the various bonuses they offer, online casinos are a goldmine for the sophisticated disciplined player.

Sure many here at TheRX have made thousands.

The are only few ways to win even at a casino that is on the up and up.

A few of the ways are through bonuses, progressives, and 100%+ video poker.

One should never EXPECT to win at roulette, craps, and ordinary slots...............online or otherwise.

Craps is the ONLY game in Any casino that you can actually get a 50-50 bet. Now do you know where that is on the layout?

Sure, taking odds.......on the PASS LINE or DONT PASS.

Still, a losing proposition considering the money put up front first.

However.......video poker, certain slots, and blackjack can all be played with a better than 50-50 return longterm.

Craps is unbeatable, unless one is cheating or using some type of promo(matchplay coupons as one example).

Those who know, know online casinos can be very profitable. As fish said, you have to be very disciplined and in the know as far as trustworthy sites. You are safe with any of the larger software groups. Get in, wager the requirements and get out. Sounds easy enough though apparently most people can't handle that and will wager until their bankroll is depleted.

Craps FAR from unbeatable. Matter of fact its the most exciteing game in Any casino if you know how to play.
Sure you have to take the worst of it, to get to where you either Lay or Take odds. Playing the back side is Very very dangerous, more of a grind out. The front side with full odss is Fun to play.
You guys are All the time talking about money management. Well same thing with the craps.
Pass line with Full odds and One come bet with full odds, is the closest thing that i can find, and even at that you are supposed to lose 1.41 per hundred that you put into action.
The key is to get "lucky" an catch a hand, then start up the latter with bigger bets. IF you are "fortuante" enough to catch a shooter that holds the dice for long time, it can Really make some Major $$ Fast.
I am winner to this game over the course of my life with that play.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Baccarat also has 50-50 odds...player or banker..made lots of $$ on this game in over 10+ years.

Insiders---Craps is BEATABLE at any time.......but in the longterm the odds are stacked against you plain and simple to come out ahead over the course of a lifetime.

Again......BLACKJACK, SLOTS, and VIDEO POKER are all games where the sophisticated player can gain an edge over the longhaul. A VERY good edge I may add.

baccarat is not a 50/50 game. Banker has a slight advantage and you have to pay a vig to bet on banker. When betting on banker the house edge is 1.06% and when betting on player the house edge is 1.24%. In craps the house edge on the pass/come bet is 1.41% and the house edge on dont pass/dont come is 1.36%.

Yeppers you are right Craps is beatable at times! And when its that time its really good too.

BJ used to be really good for the counters as well, but NOT anymore as they suffle to quick, even in the double deck, for me anyway.

Most Everything in Any casino the odds are stacked against the player, thats how they built Skyscrapers.

Forget about it. House always win in regular, live casinos, never mind faceless, offshore, unregulated ones...

Wrong wrong wrong, if you're betting on the banker, you have to pay 5% commission which you just lose 5% odd. If you're betting on the player, it's not 50-50, but baccarate is still probably the easiest game to make a profit at, much better than BJ.

Fish how can you get an advantage long term in Blackjack? Sure if you play perfect strategy, which isn't hard, the house edge is very small--something just over 1% IIRC--but in the long haul the odds are always stacked against you, no matter how small, no? Unless you're counting I suppose, or there's something I'm overlooking...curious to hear your response :modemman:

It all depends on the rules of the game. FOr example, # of decks, # of times you are allowed to split, doubling rules, surrender allowed. Get a palce with liberal rules and a single of double deck game the players gets the edge playing optimal strategy.

Counting cards is something different.
