Good day yesterday. Lots of tight games, and tons of homers! I think the baseball might be on steroids this season. I heard a rumor that the baseballs are wound tighter and that may be the reason for the higher run scoring......who knows, but something to definitely consider early on. Anyways, here is the summary thus far:
Thursday: 6-5 +1.18 Units
YTD: 42-37 +7.06 Units
I was very confident that yesterday's card would finish in the black, mainly because I had a lot plays, and that all the luck would even it, and we would see a solid net value panning out. This held true.
Today, this will be even more so the case, as I have my largest card of the young season. First off, all of these plays have high value. I know some will be skeptical that I am not being selective enough, but this baseball. The hold % is small, and many games have value each and every day. In addition, the lines are still weak early on. Thus, here's the card so far, and I'm VERY confident we will finish in the black once again:
Philadelphia +100 Colorado ***2 Units***
I will RARELY stray from risking anything more than 1 full unit on any given game, no matter what value I calculate. Thus, you will only see a handful of these all season long. However, I absolutely love this play, and have wagered 2 full units. The Phillies have been struggling, but I think the bats are starting to wake up. Madson is very underrated, and I don't think much of Mr. Day. I think the Phils win this one easily.
Pittsburgh +100 ChiCubs
Cincinnati +204 St. Louis
Cincinnati-St. Louis UNDER 8.5 (+106)
Cleveland-Detroit OVER 9 (+101)
Cleveland +100 Detroit
LA Angels-Baltimore UNDER 9.5 (-111)
Milwaukee-NY Mets OVER 8 (-105)
Seattle-Boston OVER 9 (-123)
San Francisco-LA Dodgers OVER 8 (-107)
Texas-Oakland OVER 8.5 (+111)
Florida -159 Washington
I have several other plays that will be added this afternoon based on movement. I won't be surprised if I have a total of 15 plays today. Good luck to all!!!
