note the only runs marshall allowed were a homerun to a cardinals team following a walk . he's only given up a 2 run hr. he looked very good in that outting i dont think he will allow over 2-3 runs tonight . era's are very hard to track this early in the season on only 1-2 outtings. 2 or more runs gives numbers like 8-10 very misleading in my opinion

I like going against Marshall in his second start. Teams have a "book" on him now and will adjust.

Marshall is mowing them down right now.. 9 up, 9 down.

Casey left the game to a back injury too.. Cubs pen is on another level compared to the Dodgers and Reds they've faced past two series. I would be surprised if Pirates find more than 2 or 3 runs.

like i thought marshall looked good first time around allowing only 2 runs in his first inning of his first major league outting . LOOKING EVEN BETTER TONIGHT NO HITTER THROUGH 3!

Keep in mind as well.. Cardinals Lineup >>>>> Pirates Lineup.. This is a much easier matchup for him.. Cubs were a good pick tonight

3-2 Cubs.. Wow.. What a poker that was. Pitch was about 18 inches outside the strikezone and 6 inches off the ground, Barrett just went across the plate and flipped the bat at it and poked it into right.
