The Legendary Doyle Brunson (www.doylesroom.com) has been chosen to represent the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1lace w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">United States</st1:country-region></st1lace> at the Intercontinental Poker Championship. The first stage of the tournament is scheduled to take place this weekend at The Palms Hotel & Casino in <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Las Vegas</st1:City></st1lace>.
The tournament will feature Doyle Brunson and 20 other players from 20 different countries competing for a $500,000 first place prize and a trophy, and will be televised later this summer as the first poker tournament to be carried by the CBS network.
