He's been complaining about not hitting the ball well...even though he had 5 HRs...make that 8 now!

More impressive...Pinch Hitter JASON MARQUIS lead off single in the 9th.

this just in............. Pujols is good.

I went to a spring training game Marlins-Cardinals and bet on Florida. Florida eventually won a close one coming from behind but what I remember most about the game was that every time Pujols came up I was scared shitless.

Guy is amazing. After that HR last year in the playoffs saved one of my bets, I was his biggest fan. He saved another bet for me today.

This man is :money8: for me!

I knew that one was over. Cards send up a starting pitcher to pinch hit in the 9th and he gets a lead off single. I am looking at CBS and they show Weathers is throwing 87 MPH fastballs, that is batting practice for Pujols.

I almost would walk the guy, I know you don't put the winning run on base (and Rolen is no bargain either) but how many times do you let this man beat you? Great hitter, if he's clean he is hands down better than a roided up Bonds.

If AP is the best hitter in baseball, how come he does not get the same respect from the pitchers and managers as Bonds?

Cannot believe that a Manager in his right mind would pitch to Pujols in situations like this.......Wow.

Your 2005 Silver Slugger award winner for SPs. Actually is used quitee frequently as a pinch hitter and pinch runner.

I doubt he's clean..Sorry its come to that but, he has the look, and I cannot help but wonder. I have been thinking it for 3 years about Albert.

Just like Pudge and Tejada (who has turned into Omar Vizquel)

2 guys named edmonds and rolen around him..

pujols has a chance to go down as the greatest offensive player in history.

and in my opinion , he is clean. came into the league already a big boy.

he's looking at 800+ homers...similar but even better numbers than A-Rod.

also, he broke in at 210 lbs, he has to weigh 240+ now, his weight has went up and his hairline has redeced drastically....he could be clean but I doubt it.

amazing player either way.

I gave a LIVE REPORT to CY1981 a couple weeks ago from spring training as I was watching David Weathers and mentioning how hittable he looked.

Are we going to do this everytime someone hits 40 homers a season?

Its time to just accept the numbers pure and simple. No need to ponder the things we cant prove or dis-prove.

The fact is these things have been going on for decades not years.

i'll bet he hits the weight room hard.. also , if you were to wear a hat every day of your life , your hairline would recede as well..

a lot of ballplayers are bald.

He is no doubt a good hitter Pat, but he has a long way to go before he can even be mentioned in the same sentence as Bonds.
