Kobe is a serial rapist that preys on teenagers. His upside doesn't outweigh the likely downside that his felonous ways will catch up with him and land his criminal ass in prision.
I love Nash but he is old and starting to break down. Plus he can't play D. I was thinking along the lines of cornerstone players that a GM can build a team around for about 10 years.
Noone has mentioned Ron Artest. A definite headcase, but a great player. Also noone has mentioned my main man, Gilbert Arenas. He is young and really quite awesome.
Build your team around whoever you want - but if you want to win a ring you need Shaq or TD unless you can get a loaded team like Detroit - either Shaq and Tim has played for the title every year of their career - and they won every year other than Detroit's one ring.
