I know there are a million ways to do this and I'm sure you've thought through several of them, but in my opinion you are missing a key aspect of tailing these 3 cappers' plays because you're treating each of their plays as 1 unit, no matter how many units they are playing them for.

I do, however, think that the way your calculus increases plays' values based on how many of your three agree on a side is important, so perhaps this "Mutual Fund" system would be more profitable if you could use both the # of units each player puts on the play as well as their agreement on a side as inputs into the card.

I will think of some formulas to devise a good number of units if you think this is worthwhile, but if you're content with your system I won't bother. Let me know your thoughts...

of course I had thought about that, I do beleive Jmans plays should be graded slightly higher & that we should take into account some of the weightings of the various plays

I am most welcome to hear any suggestions, I will also at times have some difficulty posting between 3-7 so it will be hard to update with buckys plays at times.....

if you are able to help out with that angle it would be most welcome.....

SportsSavant -- I would agree that by calculating everything as 1 unit, the followers are missing out on how each capper is valuing his plays.

I would suggest showing all units risked on each game, and also showing the cumulative effect. For example, if all 3 cappers are on one game for 3 units each, then show this as 9 units. I'm not suggesting that one should play such a game for 9 units, but leave this up to each follower to re-adjust the units played on each game, based on the cumulative effect of the 3 cappers. In cases where there is a conflict, I would still suggest using a cumulative effect. If one capper lists a 3-unit play (high level of confidence), and another is on the opposite side for 1 unit (not as confident), then post this as a 2 unit play.

Cant seem to put 2 days in a row together. Choptalk is a rolling stock right now,lol. The earnings report sent shares down -13 for the first 2 week period of the first quarter. Earnings are down. The stock just hit a 52 week low because it did not meet the streets expectations due to unforseen weekness in the bullpen sector. LOL
