I better list everything...

YTD Posted RX Record:

sides: 16-21 (-13.40 units)
totals: 6-3 (+2.68 units)
R/L's: 20-34 (+10.74 units)
overall: 42-58 (+0.02 units)

road team, system record: 48-12 (+57.80 units).

so you can see, my posted record this season has been pretty much of a wash... During this time i have also come upon a system, that plays either the runline or alternate runline, with the road team .. The results have been outstanding, to start the season: 48-12 (+57.80 units)... Ill be glad to discuss this record and any set of series this season.. But i dont feel like breaking it down again. While this looks good on the surface, i just dont see how it can hold out.. It appears, that you need to go 12-3 to make the good money. And probably will break about even at 11-4, of course this depends on when you get the wins in a series, as games 2 and 3 will pay more... I have been constantly thinking of a way to better the money management aspect of this.. In this thread, ill list the system plays for the first set of series this week, just how i drew the thing up originally. Then ill also list my modified version of this, and see which one does better. I have a couple more weeks, until april ends and i need all the info that i can get, as i plan on having my final plan for the season in place by then...

Original System: 48-12 (+57.80 units)

plays for monday: april 17th.... week 3/ series set 1

stl -1.5 (+1.00) 1 unit
fla -1.5 (+2.70) 1 unit
atl -1.5 (+3.01) 1 unit
mil -1.5 (+1.70) 1 unit
sd -1.5 (+1.70) 1 unit
cubs -1.5 (+1.55) 1 unit
sf -1.5 (NL posted) will update later..
KC -1.5 (+4.25) 1 unit.

now im going to compare this to an altered version.

altered version.: 0-0 (+0.00 units)

Stl -1.5 (+1.00) 1 unit.
Cubs -1.5 (+1.55) 1 unit.
SF (NL, as of now) 1 unit

these are the only 3 plays in the altered version. as i have placed a weeding out filter into the equation.. there will only be a total of 7 series played, with the altered version..

skip over all this, if not interested but i need to find out, which way is going to be better...

I have no idea whether this will work but how about this. Adjust the amounts bet on each play so that they will all payoff the same. Say you want the average payout to be +150 for 1 unit bet. Then when the play is +200 you will bet less than 1 unit. This could bring your overall risk down some. Also you will bet less on the ones most likely to lose and be betting more on the ones most likely to win. Just an idea I am throwing out to you. I have no idea as to its validity.
