SATURDAY 22nd APRIL. RX FORUM
1) OLDMANTED
Unexpectedly came from another State to pick up the last Qualifier a couple of weeks ago. Although being group class some years back, age had caught up with him and he started to fall down the H’cap. However, a Gelding operation over the Winter seems to have brought him back to his best. Distance and going seem to come all-alike to this genuine player and a big show is expected by connections.
Asset: Relaxed Professional never gets agitated.
Problem: Coming from the West Coast.

2) FISHHEAD
Popular H’capper who always does well but never seems to play up to his potential, he has promised so much in his career but played second fiddle on many occasions. His style will make sure he will see the trip out, lobbing in behind the main players and his form at the moment, added to an attractive weight, makes him the one to beat.
Asset: Never been better.
Problem: Always seems to fail when asked a question.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
3) JOURNEYMAN
Has battled through some hard times but consistently puts in big performances. His style could pay off, as he always likes to be up with the pace and not frightened to kick on if need be. Has been known to dislike heavy going but has done well lately.
Asset: Versatile front runner
Problem: Can sometimes be worried out of it if someone rattles him.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
4) DANTE
Young up and coming H’capper. There’s a lot to like about this fella, seems to enjoy his work, takes everything in his stride and never gets flustered. Appears to have his work cut out against older rivals but has risen to every challenge so far.
Asset: Easy style will help him down the stretch.
Problem: Inexperience as a front-runner could cost him against Journey.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
5) WILHEIM
Wilheim is an honest capper who will always run up to his form but in this field, his laid back, out of the picture style may leave him too much to do down the straight.
With so many others up with the pace, it will need some trouble for him to take an interest in proceedings.
Asset: will run to form.
Problem: that form may not be good enough.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
6) SPORTSAVANT
The Youngster from across the border in Canada has made great strides over the last 18 months and fully justifies his place here. Going should be no problem but he is in unknown territory with the distance. This is a big step up in class but who knows, he has surprised up to now.
Asset: Young and full of potential.
Problem: This could be too much too soon.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
7) TTINCO
Yet another seasoned H’capper who is showing a return to form after a wind operation. There is no doubting his ability but his temperament has got the better of him on several occasions. It’s hard to see him being involved in the finish, but who knows.
Asset: Wily old H’capper.
Problem: Gets on his toes too often.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
8) ROBFUNK
Has to be said that he has defaulted into this. It’s hard to see where any of his recent form will put him anywhere near the mix.
Asset: Still learning the game
Problem: Hasn’t been around the main courses.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
9) LANDER
Yet another defaulter with no chance, but genuine all the same.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o>
SCRATCHES:
KOJAK: Bruised Ego
BUCSFAN: Gone to another circuit in hope of bigger rewards.
More as the Week goes on. :drink:
