I have to go over there tomorrow night. Its not open to the public quite yet, but lots of people have been through it over the last month and say it is nothing short of spectacular. Hard part though will be convincing those bermuda shorts wearing locals to go to such a fancy place.

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

was there - sorta - this past weekend

sis lives about 1 mile away and i was there to spend easter weekend with her

saw the outside and it looks nice although only 1 part is done - with more rooms still to be added

spoke to someone who toured it when the media was allowed in - and he RAVED about it

it is now open to all so reviews should be coming in soon

all i know is the SunCoast will be the biggest loser here. my sis and her family went bowling there but will now make the 1 mile walk to Red Rock to do so

funny thing is - sis said she was going to bed early tuesday night and wasn't going to watch the fireworks that were sked to go off @ 9:45P. she called about 10:30P saying the fireworks were SO LOUD she (and my nephew) couldn't sleep and they went outside to watch them and loved them

Traffic was horrific last night. Maybe it will be a big problem as the local community was saying. Word was at 6:30, 5 hours before it opened, people were parking half a mile away and walking because every spot in the vicinity was gone. Its hitting a very strong submarket there and also trying to draw in people from all around. It could be an overcrowded mess for awhile, not exactly what you want if you claim to be a "locals" casino.

Its damn nice but packed like a sonofabitch. The people who were saying it is as nice or nicer than the Wynn were not kidding. Its an absolute showplace, you totally forget you are in a Stations. The step up from the rest of the locals places and this one is like the step up to the Borgata from everything else in AC. The details and the setting are incredibly nice. Its the sort of place where us locals will make an extra trip out with our guests just to show them the place after they have seen the Strip, it really is that nice.

Poker room was a zoo, didn't even bother to stop by for the details as that is a bit too far for me to drive over just to play.

WB...spent the evening there last night, it was crowded but not overwhelmingly so.

The place is amazing. I think it blows Wynn away. Top shelf but not over the top and nothing too tacky like Wynn's bizaar carpet. Phenomenal sports book for being off strip. They have a TV in there that looks like its 50 feet wide.

Congratulations to Station for stepping up and hitting the ball out of the ballpark. I live in Vegas and I liked it so much I'm going to take my wife there for a weekend.
