One wins + 8 units for the entire season, one should be happy.

I am reading where someone thinks a +8 unit start to the baseball season is considered 'off to a slow start'...are you kidding me?

+8 units is in no way a slow start, no matter who you are.

There are no guarantees when it comes to gambling :icon_conf

+8 units after 2 1/2 weeks = +86.4 unit pace for the season. Certaintly nothing to complain about

Dub, nothing is a guarantee though ....I find the comment somewhat disturbing, to suggest a +8 unit start is considered off to a slow start...in fact I wasn't even up at this time last year...if one were to win +8 units every two weeks of the baseball season one would be up substancially by years end.

baseball is a 162 game season.

Sensitive , I don't think is the word in this case...I just find comments like that unfair to anyone, trying to give out winners.

It would be a whole lot easier just reading the forum and giving out an occasional pick, people need to back off of those who post plays daily, if they really believe + money is a slow start they really have no business gambling.

I'm even right now, I don't post my plays because I'm not confident in my capping in baseball. I consider it good that I'm even right now. If I were up 8 units right now I'd be dancing in the streets.

oh my god!! i am down almost three units. should i end my life? i would be thrilled to be plus 8 units. anything on the plus side is good, anytime. in any sport. i enjoy getting replies, good and bad. that is what these forums are for. there is a difference between a negative comment and bashing. i post my picks because i enjoy doing so. i have been lucky and have never really been bashed. if i go into a forum and i am bashed for no reason, i would just not post there anymore. for the most part things are good, but you always get a few who cause trouble. keep posting and keep the winners coming.

Agreed 100%. I was up 13+ units a few days ago. Have hit a horrible streak, and now am only up 2+ units. However, given what we've seen the first few weeks, I'll take it.

The same poster told me in two other posts how lucky I was to have had a winning night, because one game had a late score..the game was an over 9 and the total ended up being 14 runs, yet I was lucky.

I would have to agree with you then....but like I said, didn't read it.....just what and how it was posted here.........Anyway, that guy's a fuckin idiot....Why even pay attention to it or let it get to you.....Nobody here gets payed for posting picks and no one FORCES anyone to play the picks that ARE posted..... We are ALL here for the same reason and that is CASH MONEY, so My advice to you is ignore the people that post negative things and focus on the people that actually look forward to your picks.....You'll be much happier that way!

AND consider that there are people out there who ENJOY capping games and giving their picks out to us, because it's some kind of self-realization. And I am very lucky and greatful there are people like Journey, TN, bigshotmaxxx, Dub, gynecologist, and others - I really am !!! :thumbsup2:
