Anyone see that splitter by Hudson to strike out the first batter? Could be a nice day for my boy, looks like he's got his stuff! :thumbsup2:

I think I should have checked my lineups before making my play of the day Atlanta. They are fielding a minor league caliber lineup. I knew about Giles...but McCann, Renteria and Laroche as well? I'm sure McCann and Laroche are because of Glavine on the hill though.

McCann more likely just because he needs a day of rest, but you're right on the money with LaRoche. The only guy in that lineup I don't trust is Tony Pena, the others are pretty solid hitters. Betemit hit near .300 last year in ~40 games while Chipper was out, he's a great switch hitter with solid power. Diaz was a phenom in every level of the minors as well as this spring for the big boys' club.

Don't forget the Braves had more rookies in the lineup last year for nearly the entire year; this is nothing new and they know how to win without their stars. Lineup shouldn't hurt the Braves too bad today IMO they should still be able to put up 4+.
