Nothing as of yet on the docket, but taking a long look at the TB/BOSOX game OVER the posted total, so if any of you would like to comment on the game, would appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

Also looking at one of the afternoon games, which if played, will post before 12:50pm EDT.

Take it easy,

Don't like much either today but think I will take a stab with Anaheim if I can get +120 and up(going up right now so will wait).

Will take Tampa Bay(already bet, mistake), Texas(betting right now think will go down), and Arizona(not sure when to pull the trigger) . Trying to figure out this whole when to bet or wait for a better price. Good luck

Thanks Fish,
did this (betting bases every day) 2 years ago and was ahead till the last few weeks and than the wheels came off. It is a LOOOOOOOOOng season but i truly love baseball. My whole goal was 20 units for the whole year and I have surpassed that maybe I sholud call it a year on April 20th (up over 30+ units and have only bet 1 unit a game):lolBIG: . The posters at the RX make this everyday grind exciting and fun. We shall see. Noticed you have been hot yourself lately, good luck.

If there is one pitcher I have a hard time getting a read on it's Wakefield. I've never bet for or against that guy. Everything depends on how that knuckleball is working. If it's on, he has the potential to throw a shutout, if it's off, he'll hang a 4 spot in the 1st. Wish I could do my part as a reader of your posts and give some feedback. Good luck

Game is live betting on Matchbook, giving a possible opportunity to change your mind and make a little.

You had a really nice card yesterday, was unfortunate with the Seattle late rally.

Sure, pass on a day when Chop is still on break, JMan is now taking a few days away and Bucky is on a 2 day spiral. How are the squares going to make any money? We like to eat too.

still like TB just wished I would have waited for a higher price thought the public would be all over the DRAYS with their best pitching matchup of the seris and the fact Boston may lay off a little because of having won every game in series.

I thought just the opposite Iceman, grabbed all the Boston 162 I could get last night thinking it would only get higher. Still thinking (hoping) that. I'm prejudiced on this game because I have sat in the Trop and watched Wakefield make the Tampa line-up look bad for years. Not just getting hitters out, making them look foolish. Not sure if the relative youth of the DRays is why but he has seemingly always had our number. Do you get more effective at the plate with the more knucklers you see? I would imagine so but not sure. Whatever the reason he has owned Tampa, what is it, 13-1 career against Tampa? Plus while we know Tampa can score we know all about Boston's bats as well.

Tough call here. I liked the Under until I saw Fish likes the over, now I am just hoping for the number to keep rising.

Wakefieds mastery of the RAYS will in all liklihood keep me off the OVER.

Hey Fish,

I really like Baltimore today. Carmona is still an unknown although he did pitch well last time out. I know its early but Bedard may just have one of those special seasons. He showed flashes of it last year, but could not remain consistent.

We will know alot more after he pitches today as he faces the toughest lineup he has seen this year.

Also like TB, They have good value here with Kazmir on the mound. He can shut just about any team down, while his opponent Wakefield has not impressed me much. Also like the under in this game based on the fact that i am hoping Kazmir will shut Boston down.

I could be wrong here, but this TB team seems very different than teams in the past. With hitters like Cantu and Gomes coming into their own I think they can be a force to be reckoned with.

I am sure many pitchers that have owned the RAYS in the past will have trouble with them this year. Wakefield though can sometimes have one of those days where he can just flat out dominate any team in the league.

I myself made my bet based on my expectations for Kazmir. I am hoping he can regain the form he had in the second half of last year.

GL to you...whichever way you go.

Whether his team wins by 14 or loses by nine, Cleveland catcher Victor Martinez just keeps on hitting.

Martinez looks to extend the longest current hitting streak in the major leagues going when the Indians meet the Baltimore Orioles in the finale of their three-game series at Camden Yards on Thursday.

Martinez's hitting streak reached 14 games as he homered in the Indians' 18-9 loss on Wednesday. He had three hits, including a homer, in Indians' 15-1 rout in the series opener on Tuesday.

For the season, Martinez is batting .407, good for fourth in the AL behind the Tigers' Chris Shelton, teammate Casey Blake and the Orioles' Ramon Hernandez.

Martinez hit in a career-high 17 in a row from June 17-July 6.

He will be looking for his first career hit off Baltimore's Erik Bedard (3-0, 2.25 ERA), who gets the start for Baltimore. In five at-bats, Martinez has struck out three times, and has just one RBI.

Bedard will try to join Boston's Curt Schilling as they only pitchers to win their first four decisions. Bedard - who has won only six games each of the last two seasons - has been the O's ace in 2006. He has allowed just five runs and 20 hits in 20 innings pitched with 11 strikeouts and just five walks.

The left-hander lasted eight innings Saturday, and allowed two runs and season-high eight hits in a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

He will be opposed by rookie Fausto Carmona (1-0, 1.50), who is making his second career start for the Indians. He gave up a run and five hits with two walks and four strikeouts Saturday in Cleveland's 7-2 win over the Tigers.

Both teams have combined for 43 runs and 63 hits in the two games. The Indians (9-6) had defeated Baltimore (9-7) five straight times before Wednesday's loss.

'It was a bad night all the way around,' Indians manager Eric Wedge said. 'It's one game.'

The Indians also lost two relievers to injury Wednesday. Matt Miller, who replaced starter Jake Westbrook, strained an elbow and appears headed to the disabled list. Rafael Betancourt came on to replace Miller, but left with a strained upper back after facing just two batters.

Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo was pleased with the way his team rebounded after the double-digit loss and an early four-run deficit.

'They really showed me some character tonight,' he said. 'When we came in the dugout and it was 7-3, they were still chirping about coming back. Miguel Tejada was saying, 'Let's go, we can get them.' After last night and being down 7-3, they showed me something tonight.' </BLOCK></BODY.CONTENT>

I got no feeling for the game either way but am with you if you play it. Let us know.

BTW I wouldn't let anyone talk you off the TB over that you mentioned, you've been red hot and your instincts are probably right. Yeah both guys can pitch a good game but on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised if just one of the teams scored enough to beat the over by themselves. Both are capable of scoring a bunch of runs. I been riding your overs lately and they been money, do what you think is best without anyone talking you out of something.

The kids are hungry, I need Fishhead action!

Fishhead...

Do you have a system you use for betting baseball or do you just go with your general knowledge by looking over statistics?

Also, You have mentioned Hockey is your sport. Will you be playing any games in the NHL Playoffs?

No system for bases.

As far as the NHL is concerned, look for a few plays in the Tracker Forum and/or NHL forum.

If possible and if I remember, will include them here with my baseball selections in the bases forum.
