still crawling towards the plus side for the year. it is taking a very long time. keep having these nights of winning less than a unit. guess i should not complain, winning less than a unit is still a good night. i am very happy to be where i am at after being down almost 15 units.
phillies -153 vs washington..........got lucky with the phils yesterday. i said at the start of this homestand they were going to make a move. ryan madson has been the phils most consistant pitcher this year and i really like him today. the phils are due for a breakout game where they take a big lead and take it easy the rest of the day. today is that day. even though they have struggled with washington, my gut tells me the score often and early today behind a solid effort of madson.
san diego -139 vs mets.........i also said at the beginning of the week the mets were due to lose a few and they have to the braves. now they go out west where it is never easy. i will take a pitcher like peavy at home at these odds vs anybody. this one looks solid.
texas +110 vs seattle.........as mentioned in previous threads, change of scenery has done padilla a world of good. this guy can be unhittable at times and at other times the complete opposite. i just think moving to texas has changed his career for the better. texas could always scores runs and they should not need many when padilla is pitching. nice solid dog here.
milwaukee -133 vs cincinnati.........rding some coatails on this one. brewers seem to be popular today by some good cappers. they do play good ball at home and i think have the big pitching edge today.
word of caution..........i have been doing pretty well the past two weeks and i am due for a losing day. i know it is coming. if i did not have losing days, i don't think i would be having to go to work everyday, do you?
