Another nice day yesterday going 4-2 for +8.4 units or $840.

Updated record:

Games: 25-30
Series: 26-2 (Any series losses won't be posted until the series ends or I abandon the team mid-series. Wins will be posted when a series closes)
Units/$: +$2170 or 21.7 units.

Small card today, 2 new series and 2 final games. I am playing the two final game plays at reduced units, Phil is supposed to be 4 units and SF 8

Today's plays, all -1.5 runs:

PHIL 250/337
SF 250/325
CIN 100/195
NYM 100/205

Best of luck.

How do you decide what a series is? road trip? home trip? none of the above?

As you would commonly think of one, basically when a new team comes into town. Two new series start today, NYM @ SD and Cincy @ MIL, 13 of them start tomorrow. understand?

Thanks and good luck Fhmesq. I'm playing Cin and NYM too.

Just wondering if when you are deciding to play a series if you look at the probable starters for all games in the series. Last night I was looking at both of todays new series and trying to decide if I should play them and looked at probable starters for each game. I like the matchups and think that CIN and NYM will both come out on top to keep the great series record going.

Lets cash 'em

No, I haven't to this point. I am letting the system decide the plays and staying out of the capping business. If I start capping I would end up bailing on series and games that win (MIL last night being a good example). Only "capping" I am doing relates to which teams to fade.

best of luck. i'm in watch mode for now, but impressed so far. i agree with the 3 teams that should be in the fade list, but not positive about tb and was as of yet, but can definitely understand how they could be.

Thanks, I think TB is improved and may make their way out of that list and Wash may be the bane of my existence this season. I played them last series, lost games 1 and 2, dropped them for game 3 and they win by 2+, then fade them this series, they win game 1 by 2+ and they lose by 1.

Well, on the other hand - it would still be fine if you left them on the list to just not play at all, right? While it could knock off some potential profits by fading, it would also alleviate a headache of figuring them out at all, you know? I just know they've killed me this year, playing with or against them. You just don't know whether they're going to show up or not. Anyways, just a thought. Good luck.

Now that Cinncinati and NY Mets win the first game of a four-game series against the RL, do we play it again or do we just take the winnings and move on?

Don't quote me but I believe we stop playing that series and move on.

Correct, move on. The goal is to win one game and quit that series. That being said, everyone is free to play it as they wish and if you want to press it since there are 3 games remaining, go ahead.
