.214 avg. 0 hr's, 1 rbi.

Plays about as often as Lenny Harris these days.

Are we seeing a Mark McGwire/Willie Mays embarassing end of career performance in the midst?

Hank Aaron was no bargain at 42 years old. Why do you think Bond's should be? Look at Aarons figures for his last year!

Multiple operations have done in his legs. I dont see how isnt a liabilty on defense to boot.

Then you add in his distraction of an entourage, there is NO WAY Barry is'nt hurting the San Francisco Giants at this point.

Was he hitting off of a tee in spring training? Maybe this is just a slump?

I would walk the 3 hittter in the lineup every time if the cleanup hitter isn't going to bat anyone in. And since the 3 hitter cannot run, it is a no-brainer.

Bonds might as well bat 7th in the lineup. He has reached base 22 times this year and scored 6 runs. :missingte

Deceptive as when he gets on in late innings he is pinch-run for.

Which makes him even less valuable. I want my number 3 hitter performing like the Bonds of old, not Neifi Perez.
